You must book a SHA+ hotel for the first night within a two hour drive from the international airport of  Suvarnabhumi; you can go straight to Pattaya, but for Hua Hin your first night must be in a SHA Plus hotel in Bangkok and then go straight to Hua Hin to continue your holiday in Thailand!

Till now the quarantine was up to 14 days (modified several times in the past months depending on the country and covid vaccination type!

Now it’s has been reduce to one 1 night to a specific ASQ Hotel in Bangkok and a PCR test on the arrival! After that if you are tested negative for Covid-Sars 2 we are free to roam around Bangkok, have a massage or just enjoy the great city of Bangkok!

✅ You need to book a hotel limousine to take you to the hotel or place of testing
✅ You will be given a RT-PCR test
✅ You must stay in your room the first night while waiting for your results
✅ If your results are negative, you can then checkout in the morning and travel where you like

SHA is a certificate given by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) to hotels and services that meet pandemic-level safety and health standards. … Being a SHA+ hotel means more than 70 percent of the staff is fully vaccinated and that no unvaccinated staffers are allowed to have close contact with guests

Whats the difference between SHA and SHA plus?

The ‘SHA’ logo certifies that venues and businesses have public health measures in place for COVID-19, while the ‘Plus’ sign confirms that more than 70% of employees in the organisation are fully vaccinated under the Bangkok vaccination programme.

Is alcohol allowed in ASQ hotels?

When you stay at the Alternative State Quarantine (ASQ), the Property will not be providing alcohol to your room. in addition to that, you will not be allowed to bring with you alcoholic beverages from Outside.

My Way Hua Hin Music Hotel - SHA Plus Certified

Located 400 m from Hua Hin Beach, My Way Hotel combines traditional-style features with modernity. It offers an outdoor pool, a spa with facial and body treatments and free Wi-Fi connection.

The resort was inspired by Frank Sinatra’s song and offers guestrooms decorated with musical instruments. Air-conditioned room is equipped with a seating area and big flat-screen TVs with cable channels.

My Way is situated in a quiet part of town, minutes away from the famous local night market. Guests can also benefit from a well-equipped gym, diving facilities and a nearby golf course.

A 14-minute walk from Hua Hin Beach, this colorful music-themed hotel is 1 km from the art and street food at Cicada Market, and 2 km from the Vana Nava Hua Hin Water Jungle.

 

Featuring musical instruments for guests’ use, the quirky, bright rooms offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and DVD players, as well as minifridges, and tea and coffeemakers. Upgraded rooms add sofas; some have pool views. Villas add sofabeds, and 1 has a private terrace.

Free amenities include parking and a shuttle to nearby areas. There’s a restaurant and a trendy coffee shop, as well as a gym and an outdoor pool. Breakfast and Thai massages are available for a surcharge.

.Personally, I would never have chosen the My Way Hotel Hua Hin, which would have been a mistake.
Oh, I know it is not on the beach side of the road and is some distance from many of the (too) many bars and restaurants in the city centre, but it does meet the 3 ‘C’ criteria – Clean – Courteous (staff) and Cost.It is quite unique, with a tuned and working guitar in the room and enjoyable background music playing in the breakfast/pool area.
Our check-in was managed efficiently and quickly, and I was allocated room ‘C’ on the second floor with guitar provided. The room was clean, airy and the bed comfortable. The room consisted of a double bed, night stand, TV, fridge, wardrobe with hangers and a room safe.
The bathroom was clean and of enough size to meet all needs, and the shower worked perfectly.The hotel provides shower and soap gel from a dispenser in the shower, so if, like me, you prefer a real bar of soap suggest you take your own.
The towels were fresh, clean and white, all in all a good start.Room ‘C’ has only one adjoining room and is therefore relatively quiet during the evening, so sleep was not a problem.
One word of caution if you are not too agile on your feet, the stairs are Thai size and so it is easier to walk down pointing the feet sideways and holding onto the safety bar.The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful, and they are one of the reasons I would return.
The swimming pool area was spotless, and the pool is quite large and the water clear and clean, remembering that it drops quite considerably after the first set of steps, so children beware, though there is also a child pool adjacent.
Breakfast was excellent with a choice of American breakfast and Thai breakfast, plus a breakfast bar with a choice of coffee or tea, fruit juice, cereal, bread/toast and fresh fruit. The breakfast staff were friendly and happy to provide variations to the set breakfast.
Splendid service, maximum cleanness, comfy bed and fully-equiped with musical instruments. super service-minded staff.
Every moment during stay we were treated excellent beyond our expectations. Strongly recommend here, especially to those who love or has talents on music.

The location is so good! It is like right across the street from the beach. The rooms are a good size and pretty average. The hotel also has a pool which is clean and huge.The behaviour of staff is very polite and helpful. The cleaning team does a fantastic job of keeping the hotel and the rooms very clean.

Overall, I would recommend the hotel for people looking for great location in Hua Hin.

Lovely little terrace to sit out in the evening.
Surrounded by trees and plants and nature, beautiful and tranquil in the evening, and quiet in the day as two lovely clean swimming pools to share.
Complex is very safe and protected at night.
Fabulous location minutes from beach and cicada and tamarind market, fantastic vibe at the cicada night weekend market great food choices.
Live music, local arts and crafts.
Would say this is 5 stars.

Featuring a large lagoon pool snaking through the property, luxurious stays await at this 5-star resort. It boasts a beachfront location and modern rooms with a private balcony, 32-inch flat-screen TV. A chargeable shuttle service takes guests to the centre of Hua Hin.

Opening out to scenic views of landscaped grounds, air-conditioned rooms feature large bathrooms with separate bath and shower areas. A tea/coffee maker and 24-hour room service are available.

Set on lush grounds overlooking the Gulf of Thailand, this upscale beachfront resort is 7 km from Mrigadayavan Palace and 23 km from Black Mountain Water Park.

 

Understated rooms offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and sitting areas, plus marble bathrooms, minifridges, and balconies or patios. Upgraded rooms add direct pool access or gulf views. Suites feature living areas. Room service is available 24/7.

Beautiful holiday resort by the beach. The beauty of the resort is this immense swimming pool that you can access directly from you room (if you book a premium room).

The Sheraton is a little tired and could do with a makeover. The room was comfortable but not what you would expect from a 4 or 5 star hotel.

The room is big but simple with not much decoration. However, what is great is that you have access to the swimming pool from the balcony. The bathroom is fine with a large bathtub and a shower.

The Sheraton is a huge hotel, with a great location and tons of pool space and right on the beach (with horses!). The hotel is big enough that they have buggys to take you around if needed. There is also some 7/11 near by and grabs easily available if you need to get around Hua Hin.

The rooms are huge, tall ceilings and most of the rooms have direct access to the pool from the terrace.

Food at Luma Lanai was really good and beats anything near by or by delivery. The beef/pork options were fantastic. There was a good option of stuff at breakfast near the lobby.

The gym was a good size, had a smith machine and enough machines to achieve a full body workout. However, didn’t see the dumbells as I’m currently injured so wasn’t going heavy.

All the staff throughout the resort were really friendly and extremely helpful and even remembered our preferences at breakfast and for dinner etc.

Highly recommend this hotel, and cannot wait to return to get another break from Bangkok!
