They were well equipped with everything you could need including a well-stocked mini-bar, safe, tons of wardrobe space, robes and slippers and toiletries including sunscreen! WOW!
The bars and restaurants are beautiful and the food is the best could have in the south. Try the Dragons (Asian) and the Bluewater Grill (steakhouse). As well you could order food and be served at out pool lounger.
Breakfast is great, lots of selection, loads of fresh fruit, omelettes but also Mexican and Chinese food, Cava & Vodka also available for anyone whose partial to a morning Mimosa, service is great.
Lunch: great selection pizzas, salads, Mexican food, sushi and lots of great desserts too, just so easy to overindulge.

2. Grand Oasis Sens 5* – Gay Friendly Hotel Cancun
Our second suggestion for a gay friendly resort in Cancun is another 5* hotel, all inclusive as well. Mostly of the hotels in Cancun are all inclusive.
This beachfront Grand Oasis Sens All-Inclusive Adults Only hotel features rooms with a view of the Caribbean Sea and Nichupté Lagoon.
Bright, air-conditioned rooms have marble floors and terracotta walls at this all-inclusive, adults-only hotel. A flat-screen TV and private bathroom.
This romance hotel has 13 restaurants including the recognised Benazuza restaurant managed by Catalan chef Ferran Adrià. Other dining options included a Sensorial restaurant, Mexican, Italian and Asian cuisine, as well as 11 bars.
The Sakura restaurant is another great option. The view from the restaurant is amazing, across cancun and the food was very tasty and provided a good range of choice in each course. You get to see the sunset also which is an wonderful experience.
The rooms are with an amazing sea view- practically right on the beach. The room also included a big terrace with sun loungers, table and chairs and our very own plunge pool with water feature. The view could not really have been any better!
The room itself is very big, with big comfortable beds, a large TV with american channels, a mini bar restocked daily with premium brands and chocolates and wine on our arrival. The bathroom is perfectly functional and included some nice extra touches. The decor is ok, but would possibly benefit from a bit of a revival over the coming months. The air conditioning worked absolutely fine but the room did have a slight hint of a damp smell at times!
The Benazuza restaurant is an amazing experience right from the unique/fantastic cocktails served on arrival, to the food served in small ‘taste’ portions across the evening. The food is 21st century cuisine, with all the bells and whistles and is very tasty.
The Mexican restaurant has really good service and the food is tasty, enough with a good range of choice. The Italian restaurant has an excellent lunchtime menu on offers where the selection and taste of the food was really good. The evening food is pretty good, but the selection and taste was not as good as the lunchtime menu.
Lunchtime you could eat at the mexican, italian, hippie chic grill, sushi bar or the Sian Ka’an beach bar. This meant there was good variety on offer and you could eat pretty much whatever you fancied for lunch.
Breakfast is in the buffet and the service is very. They have a good selection of fruit, juices, breads, pastries, hot food as well as an omelette/egg station for tasty omelettes that you can choose your filling for.
