The Club is located on Ann Siang Road and is a stone’s throw away from Chinatown and Singapore’s Central Business District.
The hotel is about a 15-20 min walk from Clark Quay, or you could use the MRT to get closer for a shorter walk – the Chinatown station on the Downtown line is about a 5 min walk from the hotel! The Club is also very close to Club St where there are many bars and restaurants for after work/late night hanging out. Gardens by the Bay, the Merlion, and the Marina Bay Sands hotel are all not very far from the hotel. Just walk or hop on the MRT, depending on your destination.
The beds are super comfy due the the fact that the Club Hotel uses the famed “Hypnos” mattress bed.
Quality English toiletries, complimentary soft drinks & fruit juices in mini bar, free smartphone to use during stay.
Breakfast options were very limited: 3 options at The Disgruntled Brasserie – is delicious! You can have the gruyere omelette, the green & light (sourdough topped with dill cream cheese and smoked salmon served with a small side salad), and the wanton noodles (so tasty!). There are smaller and larger options also available.
The room is quite large, queen size bed room which in the USA considered as a Suite with ample in-room amenities. Has a desk and chair, sofa/couch, medium size closet, an in-room safe, tv, fridge with the standard minibar, sofa. The window in the bathroom has a good view of the Chinese Temple. The bathroom has a rain shower (nice touch) and the toiletries I would consider high end shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and body wash.
There are no bar soap (odd I know but we lived without it) and a toothbrush and toothpaste standard (nice touch). The room was quiet with blackout type curtains on the window. A pair of bottle water is complementary including soft drinks/sodas from the minibar is complimentary. Wifi in the hotel is fast and easy to access.
There are two restaurants and 2 bars one located on the roof and one in the basement if you don’t want to hang out outside the hotel.
