31 Days of Blogging: Day 14 – The last book you’ve read

The last book I read was The Voluntarism by Ken Budd.

I discovered the book while being in Uganda. Since I had an ebook reader, I bought it online. But the reader got stolen so never finished it.

Back home I bought it online, these times in paper from the book depository. After I bought again the Kobo Reader and synchronize it with my Kobo account, found it again stored in my account.

I will write later a complete review of the book. The story is about a middle aged man from the States whom decided to do something notable for and in his life after his father’s death. And he decides to volunteer in Kenya, China, Palestine, Ecuador and New Orleans. He tells the stories from that place along with the regrets he had during his life.

I had other expectation of the book; it’s a decent one and if you have time, please read it. Or go volunteering instead!
