Muslim Friendly Hotels Cyprus
Muslims make up about 25% of the Cypriot population. The island was conquered by the Ottoman General Lala Mustafa Pasha from the Venetians in 1570 A.D. This conquest brought with it Turkish settlement from 1571 to 1878 A.D. for administrative duties, military fortifications, and tax collection.
Turkish Cypriots are the minority of the island and adhere to the Sunni branch of Islam. Sufism also plays an important role. Historically, Muslims were spread over the whole of Cyprus, but since 1974 they have lived primarily in the north after the Turkish invasion. The Ahmadiyya community has a presence in the north

The TV had several channels in English, Russian, German and French but I’d afraid many of them broadcasted in poor quality, either noise of the screen or other error messages. Certainly it’s better than nothing but the TV should be fixed. I didn’t care – I didn’t watch the TV.
Excellent and strong Wifi coverage was present in entire hotel including rooms, swimming pools, lobby and breakfast areas.
Breakfast
I could not imagine that breakfast would be almost impeccable here. They had everything! I’m keen on real oatmeal porridge and they had it. There were various omelets, fried and boiled eggs. I could mix that with sausages or ham. But in my view these sausages were more spicy than I prefer. Still other guests liked them.
Swimming pools
There are several swimming pools in the hotel, one of them is dedicated to adults only and therefore it was a very calm place. There were pools of various water depth for kids with parents. There was also small indoor pool beside the fitness center.

. The hotel is located in the center of the city, very close to the Mall, although is close to the sea is not seaside. The room was spacious, clean and nice decorated with wood details. The bathroom was separated from the bedroom with a curtain! It was like opening a curtain to the balcony but it was your bathroom! A unique interior! The service was excellent, very friendly staff. The hotel manager was always around, and he offered us a free lunch/dinner. The breakfast was very good also.
The hotel is adults only, it was always quiet around the three pools. The lobby was very cosy, with a library style area for reading and chilling. Highly recommended in case you don’t mind staying next to the sea/having a sea view.
The food is always hot, delicious, plentiful and excellent quality. In fact overeating is the only issue as there is so much choice. Special call out for the Sunday roast which is possibly the best you will taste. All the staff are very friendly but special call out to Thanos who was so polite
The swimming pools are clean and the sunbeds are very comfortable, 2 outdoor pools the Centro and Elegancia, plus the large Hydro Contact pool plus an indoor jacuzzi type Asteria pool.
The rooms are well equipped spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the silk bathrobes a nice touch although a little small for my husband ! The only downside was the balcony which was very small for three people, we stayed in a one bedroom suite.
However, we spend little time in our room we would rather be out and about. The pool areas are gorgeous and the sun beds very comfy with the benefit of pool towels provided.
