Berlin, Germany’s capital, dates to the 13th century. Reminders of the city’s turbulent 20th-century history include its Holocaust memorial and the Berlin Wall’s graffitied remains. Divided during the Cold War, its 18th-century Brandenburg Gate has become a symbol of reunification. The city’s also known for its art scene and modern landmarks like the gold-colored, swoop-roofed Berliner Philharmonie, built in 1963

Experience the best of Berlin by staying at the 4-star superior NH Collection Berlin Mitte Friedrichstrasse.
Located on the world-famous Friedrichstrasse, a hub of commerce and culture, the hotel provides easy access to the magnificent Brandenburg Gate and the “Unter den Linden,” Berlin’s historic tree-lined boulevard.
Stayed with a group of friends for our annual Christmas market trip, hotel was in a great location, near to everything.
Breakfast was good and again staff very helpful, particularly loved the fresh honeycomb each morning. Hotel is very modern and feels like a business hotel but the staff make up for any shortcomings.
Rooms are minimal with minimal storage but very clean, great bathroom.

The hotel is some 10 minutes walking distance from perhaps the most beautiful Christmas markets in Berlin at Gendarmenmarkt.

This is my favorite hotel in Berlin due to the fantastic location (Friedrichstrasse train and tube station just across the street, and tram lines stopping right in front of the hotel too), modern style, good amenities in the rooms and last but not least, the 5-star staff.

We stayed in a junior suite which is highly recommended: there is a lounge/separate sitting area and a massive bedroom, which we totally loved. We always sleep so well in the beds in this hotel!

There is a capsule coffee machine and water cooker in the rooms, which is a really nice addition. This is something you shouldn’t take for granted in Berlin: I’ve stayed in 5-star hotels in Berlin which don’t have coffee and tea equipment even in business/deluxe rooms.

The bathroom is of good size and we always enjoy the selection of amenities, which include a hand cream in addition to the usual shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and body lotion. This might seem like a small detail, but important to us: there are small facial towels. Bathrobes and slippers are also provided.

The hotel has a breakfast restaurant, which I have only tested once as we’re usually not morning people. Sparkling wine was a nice touch in addition to an already wide selection of food and drinks.

Those that value cleanliness in a hotel will enjoy staying at NH Collection Berlin Mitte Friedrichstrasse: the cleaning in this hotel is really good. And the good thing is that the housekeeping won’t start knocking on your door at 9:30 AM to check if you would like your room to be cleaned.

Another nice touch is the complimentary refreshment bar in the lobby. Usually serving water, fresh fruit, biscuits and sweets, it’s really convenient for grabbing an apple or a glass of water to drink when you’re on your way out or back to the hotel.

This hotel we chose for its location to the train station (across the street), the Cathedral and Museum Island.
From the hotel we were able to walk to all the Christmas Markets on our list which were open except for the delightful Market at Charlottenburg, a train and bus ride away.

This excellently adorned property is keenly showcased by it’s excellent and attentive staff. The amenities are luxurious and the service quality was top notch.

With the exception of a minor issue with their SuitePad, we have only accolades for the TITANIC Gendarmenmarkt Berlin. Just a minutes walk away from the best Christmas Market in the city and in close proximity to shopping and dining options.

Excellent location especially for the Gendarmenmarkt Christmas market which was by far our favourite but also central to a lot of the historic attractions and for Berlin it was a particularly pretty and an up market area.

The room was perfect and have everything that we required, the gym facilities were incredible and worth the early visits before breakfast which were a feast to behold. Huge variety and high quality with efficient table service, we ate until our hearts content and it set us up for the day!

Also on the Saturday/Sunday night the bar area had a good atmosphere with tasteful entertainment, not usually ones to sit in a hotel bar area but it was the perfect nightcap after traipsing around the city all day.

he hotel was very central to the Christmas markets, Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag building, Checkpoint Charlie and lots more. It was a short walk from the Freidrichstraß railway station.

Walking through the main doors into the hotel lobby-reception certainly gave my wife and I the Wow factor. Wall to wall marble, fine art and comfortable furniture.

We asked for a quiet room and was given one on the 6th floor. For a hotel of this size we never heard a noise throughout our 3 night stay. The room was a good size, modern, comfortable and immaculately clean.

The staff all around the hotel were so friendly, professional and helpful. We only ate breakfasts in the hotel and the food was fresh with a vast choice.

We would not hesitate in recommending this hotel!

Really modern and clean hotel with good breakfast.

Location is great as only a short walk from Museum Island in one direction and the Gendarmenmarkt in the other. Also there is a U-Bahn station a few minutes walk down the street so easy to get to places further away. Enjoyed my stay.

The hotel was lovely and modern, the room was warm and the bed comfy. Plenty of storage and plug points available. Clean and tidy aswell. The bathroom was compact but ideal for our needs. Tv in room and minibar.

The location was absolutely fantastic after spending what felt like years reading reviews.

This location was amazing for us. First of all there is a bus stop right outside so you can get there so easily via bus from the airport. We walked most days to Alexanderplatz walking past museum island and the river (10 – 15 mins max to the platz).

The Gendarmenmarkt Christmas Market was literally 2 minutes up the road in the other direction. Could not have asked for more.

It was lit well at night so we felt safe walking around late. We found a wonderful little cafe just up the road for breakfast. I had the yummiest yogurt bowl and they had delicious looking cakes and sandwiches.

We chose this hotel as it was close to Gendarmenmarkt Christmas market.

It was so quiet which we appreciate a lot. The room 204 was big and the beds and pillows were good. The bathtub was extra comfort after chilly days. This hotel is easily reached by bus or metro. We preferred this area for sleeping, as also the streets were calm.

As for location, perfect for us, after to speaking to the Receptionist on where were the nearest Christmas markets she was very helpful and gave us several choices.

Having researched on what would be open over Christmas in Berlin we were aware that by about 3:00pm the majority of the Christmas markets would be closed as this the day they celebrate Christmas rather than Christmas day.

What an experience we managed to visit at least three of them and it was lovely, what an atmosphere!

Our short stay in Berlin was amazing, the location of the hotel was perfect we saw all that we had planned to see and more. This was an experience we shall never forget.
