Traveling to Myanmar as a tourists it’s not possible at this moment but travel it’s not 100% banned as relief flights are available (mostlY via Kuala Lumpur or Dubai/Doha) and the only way is staying in a Yangon quarantine hotel at your arrival for a minimum 7 or 10 days depending on your vaccination program.
Myanmar was on the way to be first country in South East Asia to open for tourism ( vaccine doses were bought by the NLD government way ahead from other countries).
But then the horror happened on 1st of February 2021 when a stupid and selfies dog decided to take the power from the people and installed a fake government. Traveling to Myanmar is not advisable as this moment (even if the people in the country do try have a normal life); armed conflict and daily bombings do occur on daily basis.
Before coming to Myanmar we do need approval from the the closest Myanmar Emssasy in your country, approval from MOFA Myanmar and invitation letter from your company in Myanmar. The waiting time for approval it’s up to 2-3 months and you need a lot of patience!

Rooms were spacious and clean. The reception desk personnel were friendly and polite and they speak good English. They were helpful when we asked them for travel and food info and they helped book our taxis. The buffet breakfast had a big spread ranging from local to western dishes. Some of the food were changed daily. The food was delicious and the waiters took our orders for eggs and serviettes graciously.
