This is a very modern and excellent value for money hotel in a great location. Meals available in the bar, but there are lots of restaurants nearby or in the old town, which is within walking distance. Very quiet rooms, good breakfast. Free internet, but quality is a bit variable. I’d highly recommend the hotel.

This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance from tons of cool sights and restaurants. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms are updated and clean. I also appreciate the nice fitness center because I like to stick to my routines when I am traveling. I wish the hotel bar had more food options, but it is also good to get out and explore what the city has to offer, which is a LOT.
We stayed for one night at the Hampton Inn in a suite, which was amazing. It was very large (corner room), with a comfortable bed and a sofa bed which was already made up when we checked in, modern bathroom, nice lighting. Very airy and comfortable for the three of us. The air conditioning was NOT noisy at all, actually the room was very quiet with no noise at all from the street. There were complimentary bottles of water in the room.
Parking and wi-fi were complimentary, and so was breakfast, which was good and food was replenished promptly when needed. Some hotels have prosecco in the morning, the Hampton Inn had ‘tzuica’, a Romanian strong plum eau-de-vie. Beware that it is very strong!
The location is also very good, about 10 minutes walk to the historic center. It is a newer hotel, opened I believe in 2013 and very well maintained, very clean and with friendly staff. Totally recommend it, a great place to stay in Cluj.
This hotel is EXTREMELY clean. They also have a high amount of regulations to ensure the safety of each guest. My room was amazing. Everything was eco friendly and modern. The bathroom was state of the art and accommodating with everything that you would need already available in dispensers (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.)
Very comfortable bed. My room had the safe hidden inside what looked like a regular drawer, I thought that was clever and it was useful for myself.
There’s a bar downstairs in the lobby that’s open 24 hours and they have a menu available 24 hours.
Great place, I will most definitely stay at this establishment again!

The room was really large, with a good size bedroom and huge living room. The decorations are beautiful and the art on the walls is extraordinary.
Everything in the room was done at high standards. The check-in was smooth and the people working there were really nice. Breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this place to stay at if you are in Cluj, looking for a luxury place close to the city.
The hotel is situated in a commercial gallery(mall) in the central part of Cluj. In 10-15 minutes you are at the Christmas market.
Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent – one of the best I experienced(a wide selection of almost everything you could think of eating in the morning in Europe – we even have polenta.
The hotel is the best option for a city center hotel. The apartments are spacious, clean, nicely designed and decorated and very well appointed with Nespresso coffee maker, Bvlgari toiletries and everything you’d expect of a 5 star hotel.
Its location being connected to a small shopping mall is very convenient as I had a good gym, supermarket, beauty salon and dry cleaners right on my doorstep. The balconies are nice and comfortable too. I was lucky to have an 8th floor apartment overlooking the hills which made my views beautiful and my time there quiet and relaxing.
Quite nicely located near to the center (Cluj is not too big anyway) and from the gardens and stadium. It is a new hotel built i believe at the site of an old brewery. The building and rooms are new and quite exquisite. There is some abstract art paintings on the wall. The rooms are large with bulgari amenities- all the amenities are placed at the beginning of your stay and quite a lot so it will last till the end of your stay.
The beds were large and comfortable. Toilets clean.
It is located next to a shopping center so you can buy snacks from there or go to the coffee shops nearby.
The staff were friendly and attentive.
Breakfast is in a nearby restaurant at the shopping center but quite extensive and the staff at the breakfast were so friendly and helpful and attentive.
Overall an excellent stay in Romania and in Cluj.
Everything about Platinia was superb and pampering. Having a door into the wonderful mall from the lobby made it easy to go to the excellent supermarket for fresh fruit, bread & cheese and goodies as well as the currency exchange office. The breakfast buffet was the best we encountered anywhere in the world.
Free welcoming drinks was a nice way to start this experience. We came back a week later (5 days total), It was that good. The best part was the staff who were the nicest and professional people.

I use to travel around the world and i was surprised how perfect this place is. Gloria (the manager/owner) is very friendly, helpful and professional, a pleasure to see people can be sweet and professional in the same time.
The photos from the website are real. Free coffee and tea. Exactly in the heart of the city so there is nothing you have to worry about.
If you travel by car, make sure you don’t expect to find a parking lot in a blink of an eye as Cluj is a BIG and busy city.
The hotel is beautiful, clean and has character. Excellent, efficient communication throughout.
Only suggestion: if complimentary coffee is provided, then milk should also be complementary. Would absolutely stay again and recommend.
he interior is homey and simple, but when we opened the door to the Blue Apartment, Room 4, we were smitten with gorgeous color combo and velvet sofa. The tall windows face an ivy strewn wall; the vintage furnishings are charming, and the modern bathroom well designed and equipped. Our anteroom had a small kitchen set up.
My quibble is providing coffee but no milk for it in the frig. For milk you have to buy a large container for several euro from the “minibar” and almost all would go to waste. However, there are great coffee shops all over downtown Cluj. The location is excellent! Sandwiched between 2 main church squares and near the happening streets strung with light bulbs, you are in the best spot. Bed quite comfortable too.
Perfect location, right slap bang in the middle of old town, a really short walk to everything, the bars, the clubs & restaurants! Camino apartments offer some serious style, the design of our split level apartment was awesome and the rest of the place really did look special and that’s exactly what you want when you’re on holiday.
You don’t need anything else but a good headquarters when in Cluj because you can go out for every meal so this is the perfect place to stay. I will 100% return. Our host really did help out in any way he could and I’m very thankful, I can not recommend staying here enough.
The house is very close to the restaurant, Camino, which serves incredibly good food. The breakfast is included an served until late. Try the scrambled eggs with truffle cream and the sun-dried tomato omelette!
We will only stay there everytime we visit Cluj, I do not think there is a better place.
