I highly recommend you to stay in this hotel with sea front, 2min walk from the beach and downtown! The hotel’s restaurant is serving local and fresh food. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We were upgraded upon arrival without request from us.

Amazing food accompanied by very good service. Wine was reasonable and well recommended by our waiter. They have an amazing array of cakes for dessert.

Fontana is a great hotel. Impeccably clean and modern. But what makes this hotel great is the staff. Everyone from the front desk to the waitstaff made me feel special every time they greeted me. Also the restaurant was great which is not always the case in hotel restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Staffs are friendly and homely – breakfast is great- overall you would feel like staying at home – management and staff are ready to help you with anything you ask for at any time – great location and great people.

New designed hotel next to Budva harbour. Staff and Manager were very kind and everything was perfect. Free parking slots are included. Our Junior Suite was big and in good style. Perfect hotel which nice restaurant!

Great and very helpful staff! Comfortable and clean rooms. Great breakfast and dinner option. Location is great. The old part of Budva, marina, restaurants and shopping are all in short walking distance.

We’ve travelled many places and I have to say this was a big surprise. Such a great hotel and even more, super hospitality! We stayed in a Comfort Double room on level 3 for 4 nights. The room was very spacious, large bathroom, excellent water pressure and amenities, along with a heavenly king size bed with high quality linen. There was a slight design flaw with the shower, whereby the water floods out into the bathroom.

The view over the park was very tranquil and relaxing, you open the double doors to the Juliet balcony to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.

Impressed with the fast turnaround each morning, your room was always cleaned during your breakfast, so you always arrived back to an immaculate room

We enjoyed a daily breakfast at The Hemingway Bar downstairs and it was full service, along with plenty of options to get you through the day and more! We loved the fried eggs and omelette, the fresh orange juice and warm croissants were a treat too.

The only negative was you did have to pay for bottled water, as there was no free table water available. The staff were very friendly and remembered your coffee order after the first day, it arrived as you sat down:-) The Hemingway also had impressive cocktails.

Location was perfect and very central, you were only a few minutes walk to the old town and the beautiful marina with an abundance of restaurants and bars.

Definitely recommend Hotel Majestic for your stay in Budva.

The room was designed beautifully…great bed, lighting, bathroom, water pressure, storage, coffee maker, safe noise proof windows and internet. The front desk people were always right on with their advice. Breakfast which was included in the rate was delicious and had lots of choices. It was served on the roof with spectacular views.

It really wasn’t a full 5 star because it had no pool nor parking but parking was down the street and offered a steep discount and the glorious Adriatic sea was a block away so I sprang for the 5 star.

The hotel is modern, comfortable, new, rooms are large and I had a beautiful view from the balcony. The rooms and bathroom are decorated in a contemporary style , minimalistic and tasteful. Proximity is great for the beach or old town Budva, with great views all around. Service was pretty decent too all around, with the front desk lady quite helpful.

Breakfast overall I enjoyed the most, pretty much a la carte which I’m a big fan of, if it’s done well! Milena at breakfast was by far my favourite staff member at the hotel. She welcomes you with a winning smile and is so genuine, she made breakfast the most pleasurable part of my stay at the Majestic. She was friendly, efficient and the service she provided complimented the stunning views from the roof top!! I actually think the name of the hotel comes from that rooftop view in the morning at breakfast, it’s the perfect description when you overlook the bay!

Good stay and would recommend it. P.S go to Nobu for dinner nearby in Sven Stefan, if you are there between Its 3 open months (and you know it’s pricing) , the view was epic at sunset.

3.  Iberostar Bellevue – All Inclusive 4* – LGBT  Friendly Hotels Budva

Iberostar Bellevue
Iberostar Bellevue

Overlooking the beach, Hotel Iberostar Bellevue is 2 km from Budva next to Becici Beach, surrounded by hilly gardens. It offers spacious and comfortable rooms with satellite TV and sea views.

The Bellevue offers 7 bars and a restaurant serving both Montenegrin and international cuisine. You can sample beverages and cocktails without leaving the pool or try the rich buffet and à la carte menus.

Iberostar Bellevue features a swimming pool and a separate children’s pool. Sun chairs and umbrellas at the beach are available at a surcharge.

This contemporary beachfront hotel is 3 km from both Old Town Budva and the 15th-century Podmaine Monastery.

The understated, modern rooms feature balconies or patios, plus satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. Upgraded rooms provide sea views.

A breakfast buffet is complimentary. The hotel has 2 casual restaurants, a snack bar and 5 bars, including a beach bar and a piano lounge. Other amenities include 2 outdoor pools, a hot tub, and a fitness center with an indoor pool, as well as a spa and regularly scheduled entertainment. There’s also tennis and a beach club.

If you wish to spend a relaxing holiday on the shores of the Adriatic Sea, the Iberostar Bellevue hotel is an excellent choice because of the quality of its facilities, its exclusive location on a stunning beach, and the pleasant atmosphere for couples and families with children.

The Bellevue features 40,000 m² of gardens, perfect for enjoying a stroll among the beautiful local plant life; a culinary offer comprised of three restaurants and six bars; rooms that are perfectly equipped and comfortable with personalised service.

The grounds are extensive compared to any of the other hotels in either Budva or Bečići, creating space and colour, and are immaculately kept, with the neatest lawns, hedges and bushes. This attention to detail is similarly reflected throughout the hotel’s areas e.g., around the pools, the restaurants, etc. There was never a speck of litter or dirt to be seen and all the staff work tirelessly to maintain standards.

In fact, the staff are probably Bellevue’s biggest asset. From the very first point of contact at reception, through housekeeping, restaurant, bar, pool, animation and grounds staff, every single person we encountered was cheerfully helpful and eager to provide service, despite seeming to work long hours and for some having to switch seamlessly from manning the pool bar to staffing the restaurant.

There is a lot to compliment the hotel on. The variety of food in the restaurant was excellent, with a superb selection of meats, hot and cold, vegetables, breads, cheeses, fruits, cereals and desserts. I would think whatever your dietary preferences you would be well catered for. I can also give a firm thumbs up for the local beer that is on tap – Nikšičko – and although I didn’t sample any of the local spirits, I’m told that in some instances despite being not quite what we would be used to, they make very acceptable cocktails.

Our room – (1506) on the 5th floor of the Terrasse block – was generous in size, well appointed with a firm-ish, but very comfortable super-king bed and sufficient storage space, plus a spacious balcony/terrace giving expansive views over Bečići, the hills and the bay. For those that need to keep up with events back home, there is a TV with a range of channels that include 3 or 4 with English speaking news.

The location of the hotel is at the northern end of Bečići beach with Budva old town just half an hour’s walk away via a tunnel accessed from just outside Terrasse block reception. Our stay being at the very tail end of the season – the hotel closes today (31/10/2019) until April 2020 – some of the places along the southern end of Budva bay were already closed down, but some investment is needed to smarten bits of it up and indeed, further in towards the old town, redevelopment is already taking place. In Bečići, another 30 mins will take you from the hotel to the far end of the bay where there are s few nice restaurants/bars and some quite impressive apartment blocks springing up.There is also another tunnel at the extreme end to take you through to yet another little bay and some very interesting rock formations just at the entrance. The old town in Budva is well worth a visit or two and its many little narrow passages have lots of shops, bars and restaurants to whet your appetite. Although there’s not a lot to see inside, the views from the battlements of the Citadel are worth taking in and the two little churches and clock tower next door are attractive features.

Do take time out to make a trip to Kotor and beautiful little Perast. Although you can take public transport there, it is fairly slow and for very little extra one of the plentiful taxis will take you to Kotor for €20 + €10 more on to Perast. For 4 people it is only a couple of € more than the bus and they will wait wait for you and bring you back if asked.

To wind up I would like to give the animation team a special mention. As it was late season there were only half the usual 12 guys and girls, but they still managed to run a daily packed programme of darts, boccia, shuffleboard and water aerobics, plus evening entertainment from morning through to late evening catering for both adults and children of all ages, all the while with an amiable and undimmed enthusiasm. Well done lads and lasses.

On a very final note, I believe that this hotel offers tremendous value and is a gem of a bargain.
