Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in picturesque Zakopane. Staff were very friendly , highly efficient & above all very courteous. Breakfast buffet was amazing every morning with a great selection of local fresh produce. Spa facilities were outstanding. Hotel was spotlessly clean. Would gladly return again.

Spacious room with multiple amenities (hair dryer, cosmetics, coffee maker and kettle, great selection of coffees and teas) and most importantly a balcony with gorgeous view! The hotel is located approximately 10 mins walk away from Krupówki and bus/train station, on a quiet side street.

Breakfast is served from 7:30 am which might be too late for those leaving for a hike, but the hotel has an option to order an earlier to-go breakfast. Good selection of fruit/warm breakfast options, a small corner with local products. Options served can get a bit monotonous after a while.

Spa zone (saunas, hot tub, swimming pool) satisfactory, but can get crowded easily. Great saunas zone with a cold water tub in the middle.

The hotel is stylish, spacious and nicely furnished. They have a pool area which was a great way to escape the heat of the day. We have also really enjoyed the huge variety of food at the breakfast buffet.

The spa and swimming area is spectacular. The rooms are great size and are comfortable.

Recently launched private SPA zone is certainly one of the highlights of this place.
The rooms are clean, spacious and nicely furnished. Really comfy!

The location – a plus, yet, I would put a big question mark on the whole of Zakopane. The issues to point out: breakfast – the capacity of the restaurant not adequate to holiday peak (but the service tried to react and resolve as they – a fair effort).

2. Mercure Kasprowy Zakopane 3* – Gay Friendly Hotels Zakopane

Mercure Kasprowy Zakopane
Mercure Kasprowy Zakopane

Located in the popular Tatra Mountain resort of Zakopane, Mercure Kasprowy offers rooms with satellite TV, a minibar, a refrigerator and an internet connection.

The rooms of the Kasprowy all feature a classic interior design. All have a picturesque view of the area and a private bathroom. Some come with a balcony offering a view of the mountains.

The hotel acts as a ski pass vendor and provides ski storage facilities. They can also play a game of tennis or table tennis.

Mercure Kasprowy Zakopane is a 3 hotel situated on the picturesque Polana Szymoszkowa glade, close to a hot spring pool and a ski slope (open only during ski season). The hotel prides itself on the highest quality services and most beautiful views of the Tatra Mountains.Mercure Zakopane Kasprowy offers 288 rooms.

An excellent highly luxurious hotel ideal for the skier and hiker alike. The amenities, staff, food and service are top class. It has an excellent Spa and restaurant. The hotel has had a full refurbishment over the last few years and is now has a very homely feel to it with carpeted reception area, bar and restaurant. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The ski hire in the basement is very good and one strolls out to the ski lift about 50 away.

The panoramic view of the town of Zakopane and the Tatras from the rooms, restaurants, and sun deck is spectacular. I don’t know how you could beat it. On a clear day, you can just make out the iron cross on top of Giewont mountain.

The hotel is located outside of the city. You have three options to get into town. The walk is 20 to 30 minutes depending on your destination and the path is well maintained the entire route. We were there in September so the weather was cooperative for a walk. The hotel has a shuttle to several destinations in town. They charge a small fee for the shuttle. I think it should be free, but the hotel disagrees and, well, they charge a fee. A taxi from most locations is about 25 zl. Not being inside the city was fine, I own enough t-shirts and refrigerator magnets. Apparently not everyone does however, as you can’t swing a cat in the city without hitting a souvenir shop.

The interior of the hotel itself is beautiful. The maintenance and cleanliness is top notch. The décor of the hotel uses a snowflake motif. You do not notice this immediately because it is cleverly and artfully incorporated. The attention to detail is impressive. Throughout the hotel, the design of the walls, furniture, the bar, the swimming pool, and even the lattice work of the beams either boldly or subtly find a way to maintain this cohesive theme.

The restaurants and lobby bar have high quality food at reasonable prices. After walking to Morskie Oko, we were desperate to not walk another step. The convenience and attentive service at the hotel was a pleasant alternative to going into Zakopane for a meal.

The hotel is located outside central Zakopane but provides regular transport to the town. The rooms are clean, comfortable, fitted with modern amenities, and a lot of them with a view of the Tatra Mountains. The bathrooms are large and clean. Breakfast buffet choice is amazing, dinner menu changes daily. The restaurant serves some amazing dishes. The staff is cheerful, friendly and very helpful.

The rooms are ok. Nice, clean and comfortable, there’s a balcony, very good tv, fridge, free Internet which usually works very good (this time I couldn’t get it to work on my cell phone though). There is a thing I don’t like about them. That is that the electricity sockets are not next to the beds, but on another side of the room, next to the table. But perhaps it’s just me that likes to use laptop while resting on bed.

What I like about the hotel is the breakfast, which costs 60 złoty, but is fully worth it. It’s very varied and plenty. You can choose from a number of juices, cereals, fruit, breads, cheeses, pickles, warm stuff such as scrambled eggs etc. The best thing about the hotel.

3. Grand Nosalowy Dwór 4* – LGBT Friendly Hotels Zakopane

Grand Nosalowy Dwór
Grand Nosalowy Dwór

Grand Nosalowy Dwór is located at the foot of the Nosal Mountain in Zakopane. It features a recreational centre and apartments and rooms with flat-screen cable TVs and free Wi-Fi.

The Nosalowy Dwór’s bright rooms and apartments feature wooden furniture in warm colours, which includes a work desk. All rooms are heated, and have a minibar, refrigerator and safety deposit box.

Guests can get a workout at the Grand Nosalowy’s fitness centre, go for a swim in the indoor swimming pool or play a game of billiards. A sauna and steam bath are also at their disposal.

The guest accommodation also organises a skiing school and offers a ski storage service. The nearest ski lift on the Nosal Mountain is only 140 m away. Wielka Krokiew Ski Jumping Venue is within 1.5 km.

The on-site restaurant, Grand, offers a selection of Polish and worldwide dishes, as well as original dishes prepared by the chef. The Sport Bar Lobby offers drinks and warm beverages. The Panoramika Café features scenic views of the area.

Resort Nosalowy Dwór is situated at the foot of the Nosal mountain in one of the quiet parts of Zakopane. It offers its guests 117 luxurious rooms and apartments as well as the largest Spa & Recreational Centre in the region, a ballroom and a well-equipped Conference Centre with a multipurpose hall with a 500 person capacity.

All this is supplemented by a wide offer of culinary and bonding events. The Hotel benefits from the immediate vicinity of the Nosal Ski Centre with 5 ski lifts. Its picturesque surroundings enable hiking in the summer and skiing during the winter season.

Guests from this hotel have access to the Rezydenja Nosalowy Dwor where we were staying, through the glass air bridge which proves handy especially in winter with the snow outside.

We would come here daily to use facilities and services that the two hotels share.

During my visits I came across professional staff and enjoyed personalized service.

Its inspiring interior creates a feeling of luxury in a relaxing atmosphere.

Guests have unlimited access to the pools, but expect them to be crowded especially during weekends and high season since guests from both hotels share the same area.

With so many visitors the pools seem not to be sufficient, but this could be the reason why next door there is another hotel under construction, the Rezydencja Nosalowy Dwór II which I judge will offer similar facilities not to mention better!

Personally I preferred being out hiking the time I was here, so I cannot comment better on the pools since I never used any of the facilities.

The La Perla SPA, is a popular chain of prestigious beauty clinics offering services and treatments of high quality in this hotel. If you happen to be there drop buy and pay a visit. Treatments vary and of course the price, but definitely it pays to have one at least therapy taking advantage of the professional hands of the Spa team.

Up on the first level, the Mare Monti restaurant prides for is Excellent Cuisine.
The interior might lack a bit of character but in all, from my own experience as a Food Critic regarding the cuisine I was left speechless with the high quality ingredients used, the mouthwatering dishes I tried, the rich buffer variety I came across and the great service.

Highly recommended for year-round holidays.
