The hotel is well located and within 1.5 miles of Broadway downtown entertainment district. Clean room, beautiful bathroom, very quiet. Simple room with queen beds was a little small. Really limited space for clothes storage so lived out of my suitcase. Staff was young but helpful and friendly. They have a car available for drop-off within a 3 mile radius which was great.
A beautiful music inspired hotel situated close to all the main attractions. Modern clean rooms, we were upgraded to a suite and it was great having the extra space. Shower is fabulous and beds comfortable. Take advantage of the breakfast offer its delicious. Infact drinks, food, cake……all good! Staff in the hotel are so friendly they really go above and beyond which makes this hotel extra special.
Loved the Hutton – rooms were extra comfy, the bar great fun and the bell staff amazing. Location is good as it’s in between some great areas of town but away from the craziness of lower Broadway. The hotel has a Tesla that will take you anywhere within a 3 miles radius. The guys at the bell desk will take you or will gladly put you in an Uber or Lyft.
l. A separate living and bedroom which was modernly decorated, a beautiful bathroom with a glass top vanity, and a large walk in shower with a rainfall showerhead.
The bedroom and living room had separate thermostats which helped keep each room comfortable.
We didn’t use any of the amenities at the hotel, except the shuttle to the downtown area, which is a Tesla. There are a bar, restaurant, coffee bar, and live music on site. However, it is only about a mile and a half to the downtown area.
Overall, this place is very clean, very friendly, and a step up from your typical hotel. As far as pricing goes, yes it’s a little more, but I’ve heard Nashville hotels aren’t cheap to begin with. This is definitely worth the money.

The architectural element definitely stands out – it’s a really cool hotel with a nice vibe. I’ve had the opportunity to stay in a few different rooms – by far my favorites are the rooms with the balconies. I also find what they did in the bathrooms (the blueprint of the TN capitol building) to be aesthetically appealing. This is one of my favorite Kimpton Hotels so far.
The location is also ideal, I found the downtown area to be very walkable from here (of course walkable is relative and I enjoy walking – so not everyone will share this sentiment). It’s also very close to all of the great gay-bars down on Church Street. Which I found the hotel to be very gay-friendly (of course being a Kimpton they embrace all walks of life as they are very inclusive). Kudos, team Aertson for making me feel welcomed and at home!
All in all, it’s a fantastic hotel – I highly recommend it! Should the winds ever bring me back to Nashville I look forward to staying here again!
Our location was awesome for us. We wanted to be in walking distance to downtown but not right in the action. It was about a 25 minute walk and we did it several times. The walk is down a highway passed car dealerships but there is a sidewalk the whole way. In the surrounding area of the hotel are lots of restaurants and there is a CVS down the street. We love walking and were really happy with our choice.
The staff were all very helpful and friendly.
There is a complimentary wine hour in the early evening and free coffee served in the mornings.
And finally, the hotel gave us a bottle of champagne and chocolates in honor of our anniversary.
It was truly a wonderful trip and we would definitely recommend this hotel.
We were assigned a (Corner) ‘Premier King Bed’ room. Our room had a small balcony, which was very nice, and the bathroom was spacious. The room contained the usual items: bed, nightstands, table and chair, tv, some drawers, a closet.
The room was pristine and clean. The bathroom was stocked with a supply of toiletries that was appropriate for our length of stay, given that housekeeping does not enter your room or provide service; any needed items are delivered to your room instead.
The restaurant Henley is open only limited hours and offers carry out service. Coffee service in the morning continues and is offered at the front desk. The wine hour is similarly operated. I was surprised to learn that the minibar in the room was fully stocked, unlike I have found in other Kimpton properties recently.
The hotel is immaculately kept. The exterior is clean and free of debris, and the landscaping is well kept.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, hip, and in such a great location walking distance to Broadway. Our room was a corner room on the 10th floor and has beautiful floor to ceiling windows and was very clean and modern.
We had drinks at Ellington’s (you get free drink coupons when you check in!) and we had an amazing happy hour with fantastic service as well. (Get the Gimlet and French fries- you’ll thank me later!)
The Fairlane is my new favorite place to stay in Nashville. We had the east penthouse on Valentine’s Day and it was out of sight! From the massive wrap-around balcony we enjoyed amazing skyline views and looked down on the Bobby Hotel rooftop. The kitchen has retro appliances including a pour-over coffee maker.
There is a turntable and nice selection of albums to play while also providing a Bluetooth speaker for the 21st century. Charles Brady at the front desk went out of his way to make our stay memorable. Everyone we met who works here really seemed to enjoy their jobs.
The Fairlane is amazing. I cannot say enough about the service and friendliness of the staff at the front desk. The location is fantastic. So close to downtown but much quieter. We were able to walk to many venues.
The room was clean and the towels were plentiful and the soundproofing was excellent. We ate our breakfast at the hotel and they were quite good. We love our coffee and saved quite a bit of money with the coffee vouchers available at the front desk. Unlimited water is also a nice touch. My only criticism is that the room is a bit dark and there isn’t enough drawer space. However, You will not be sorry if you stay here.
What a beautiful, clean hotel. From the moment we arrived until the time we departed, the staff was absolutely a pleasure. The provide free water and WIFI and offer great concierge service.
The hotel is located three blocks from Broadway. An easy walk brings you past the Ryman and down to Margaritaville. We felt very safe in this area.
One block over is a Frothy Monkey and Puckett’s, both great Breakfast options. There is a Walgreens there too for any needs. Buy your GooGoo clusters there. They have the best price! And trust me.. you are going to want to bring some GooGoos home.
One block heading towards the River is a Pizza shop that is open until 4 a.m. the pizza was great.
The hotel staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is perfect as it is a short walk to Broadway and the Ryman. The rooms are a great size, super clean, and the mid-modern century décor is fun. The bed was comfy and the hotel itself is very quiet which was great and much needed when leaving the Broadway area.
Coffee from the downstairs café was tasty along with the drinks from the bar. Side Note – Check out the Bobby Rooftop across the street for drinks and the Frothy Monkey just a block away for breakfast.
