1. Madison Taipei Hotel 4* – Halal Hotels Taipei

The location is in walking distance to several MRT stations. You can see Taipei 101 from some of the rooms. There’s a happy hour from 5 to 6 on at the restaurant across the front desk. The room is very well maintained and serviced.

Very professional and friendly staff.

The hotel is a block away from the MRT station. A short walk to Taipei 101. My room is spacious with good lighting and sound isolation. Plus I love the bathroom;).

There is a bar/ restaurant at the lobby. The breakfast is only till 10am.

. Breakfast had something for everyone from Dim Sum, to hot dishes, fresh made omelets to congee and French toast.

The fresh fruit was amazing. definitely a great way to start the day!

The free mobile phone rental which included free international calling was wonderful was special touch.

We were able to keep in touch with each other, guide our way through the transit system whether we were taking MRT or a bus.
Hopefully I will get another opportunity to visit Taipei so I can stay again.

The hotel is a short walk to the MRT (about 1/2 way between the Da an and Xinyi Anya stations. Our conference was at the Conference center which was about a 15 minute walk from the hotel.

2. U Hotel Taipei 4* – Halal Hotels Taipei Taiwan

Artistically designed, Hotel Taipei is a tranquil setting away from the bustling city life, offering an inspiring art space and cosy guestrooms. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant.

The hotel also offers bike hire and car hire. Very conveniently, Liaoning Night Market is 500 m away, while Taipei Arena is 1.2 km from Hotel Taipei. The nearest airport is Taipei Songshan Airport, located 2 km from this hotel.

Lemon yellow and grass green add a refreshing charm to the earth-colour toned units of minimalist genre. Some rooms have a private bathroom with a hot tub, while others have bathrobe and slippers. For your comfort, you may find free branded toiletries and a hairdryer.

A flat-screen TV with cable channels is provided.

Decorated with original artwork, this contemporary downtown hotel is a 6-minute walk from the nearest subway stop, 4 minutes’ walk from the Miniatures Museum of Taiwan and 2 km from the Huashan 1914 Creative Park.

Taipei No. 1 Muslim Friendly Hotel

The location of the hotel is excellent, although it is 5-10 mins walk from the closest MRT, we can easily get around by buses just in front of the hotel.

The room is big, new and modern, love their bathroom design. Very generous room service free drinks and snacks provided in the room. Very good semi buffet breakfast. And their food is halal.

The room was great, with a huge comfortable bed dressed with crisp white linen, a good sized TV with international stations and free movies, a practical desk with outlets and space to put things.

The room was a good size for the price and had a comfortable easy chair and another chair at the desk. The bathroom was another large space and had everything you could need including one of those hi-tech automated toilet. In a separate glassed in area was a large shower and soaking tub with a big window to the street that luckily has a block out shade.

One feature was a free smartphone that they provide in each room which is totally free to use for phone calls local and international, internet and all the other things a smartphone can do which is very handy as I usually get a local SIM card when I travel but for a few days in Taipei I wasn’t going to bother.

Breakfast was included in my rate and taken on the first floor and was ok and as expected had more Asian than western options and provided enough to start the day and given that I didn’t leave the hotel until around 10.30am each day I was there was welcome and avoided the need to try and find something in the for breakfast in the area.

3. amba Taipei Ximending 4* – Halal Hotels Taiwan

Amba Taipei Ximending provides modern and eco-friendly accommodation a 7-minute walk from Ximen MRT Station. It features a restaurant, laundry services and free Wi-Fi in the entire hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located in centre of Ximen’s business district and is a 7-minute walk from the Red House and a 7-minute drive from Huaxi Street Night Market. It takes about 45 minutes by car from Amba Taipei Ximending Hotel to Taoyuan International Airport.

All rooms are spacious and air conditioned. They are elegant and come equipped with a flat-screen cable TV, a seating area and an en suite bathroom. A hairdryer, quality toiletries and room slippers are provided for guests’ comfort

A 4-minute walk from the vibrant Ximending shopping district, this modern hotel in a striking corner building is 7 minutes by foot from Ximen subway station, and 2 km from the National Theater and Concert Hall.

Bright, streamlined rooms with courtyard or city views feature flat-screens, desks and free Wi-Fi, plus minifridges, and tea and coffeemaking equipment. Upgraded rooms add sitting areas; some have floor-to-ceiling windows, balconies and/or separate lounges with pull-out sofas.

amba Taipei Ximending is located in the heart of trendy Ximending shopping and entertainment area in Western Taipei, just five minutes’ walk to the Taipei Metro Ximen Station, one metro stop from the Taipei Main Station for high-speed rail, and only 20 minutes’ drive to Taipei 101.

This hip, eco-friendly hotel features free high-speed WiFi access hotel-wide, 160 contemporary guestrooms with separate rain shower, and free use of a self-service laundry room. Extra large rooms, loft rooms and balcony rooms can accommodate up to four adults, ideal for friends and family to share.

Dining options include chiba – an international all day restaurant for fun dining, tingba – a retro chic music lounge, and tianba – a bakery with an alfresco courtyard.

Room was large and divided into two, with one part taken up by two large comfortable beds and a TV fixed onto the wall. The other part had the separate shower and toilet facilities as well as a sink, mini fridge and all the other amenities one finds in a decent hotel (e.g. electric kettle, iron, hair dryer) I particularly liked the open concept area for clothes hanging.

I also appreciated the effort the hotel puts in for its Muslim travellers, with a copy of the Quran and a prayer mat located in the room. The kitchen on the 5th floor also provided specially cooked halal food for our breakfast.

And of course, the location of the hotel, right in the heart of Ximending, basically guarantees a wonderful shopping and eating experience for all.

A great hotel. Clean and staff there are very hospitable. In the heart of shopping district. The street comes alive at night with street performers. This hotel serves halal meal but need to inform them earlier and there are about two Muslim restaurants nearby.

They are always there to offer help whenever needed. They are very particular about our food as we only consume halal food. The room is well-lit, clean and cosy! Amba, you went beyond our expectation.

4. Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel 5* – Muslim Friendly Hotels Taipei

Offering 5-star luxury in the city centre, the Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel houses a day spa, fitness facilities and an outdoor pool. It provides 9 dining options, concierge services and free Wi-Fi in all areas of the building.

Featuring a blend of Chinese and modern designs, the spacious rooms offer a 37-inch cable flat-screen TV and ample work space. Large bathrooms have a bathtub, premium toiletries and bathrobes.

Located beside Shandao Temple MRT train station, Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel is a 3-minute train ride from the high-speed rail to Kaohsiung. It is 500 m from Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall and 2 km from Snake Alley.

Set in the Zhongzheng District, this elegant hotel is across the road from the Shandao Temple MRT station and a 12-minute walk from 228 Peace Memorial Park.

Casual rooms have flat-screen TVs, minibars and free Wi-Fi. Upgraded rooms feature antique furniture, lounges and city views. Suites add butler service, and some have kitchens. Club-level rooms and suites include breakfast and evening drinks.

Amenities include a seasonal rooftop pool, a gym and a spa area, plus limited shuttle service. There are 9 dining options, including an intimate sushi bar, a laid-back pizzeria and a refined steakhouse. Meeting space is available.

The 688 luxuriously appointed rooms and suites offer guests a wide selection of room types.

It is my ‘go to’ hotel chain because you can count on the cleanliness, courteous – helpful staff, well appointed rooms, great gym facilities and this location is no different.

They also have a great buffet style restaurant that would satisfy the pickiest eater, including halal options. Centrally located to shopping malls, restaurants, High Speed Rail and bus station, for me, this is the best hotel to choose in Taipei.

This hotel room was nice with cozy bed. The staff speak fluent English which help those who cannot speak mandarin well. The breakfast was even better with a lot of choices. If you need halal food, this hotel do provide one section for you.

The hotel is located not far from Taipei Main Station and Bus station, National Taiwan University Hospital, Chiang Kai Shek Memorial,and shopping area.You can reach those places by 5-20 minutes of walk.And the closest MRT station (Shandao Temple MRT station) is just around the corner.

Right above Taipei’s highly rated MRT Subway station with many restaurants (including a 2 star Michelin Star rated Chinese restaurant) and other dining selections.

Their breakfast buffet restaurant is a must try experience with over 50 items. The best part of my stay is their guest service culture.

5. Tai-Yi Red Maple Resort 4* – Halal Hotels Taiwan

Tai-Yi Red Maple Resort features air-conditioned rooms with a private balcony, hot tub and free Wi-Fi. Located on Jhong Shan Road in Nan-t’ou, the resort has its own spa and 2 dining options.

Puli Station is 4.6 km away while Puli Winery is 5.5 km from Tai-Yi Red Maple Resort. Sun Moon Lake and Qingjing Farm are both 30 km from the property.

Full length windows offer plenty of natural sunlight in each room, which has flat-screen satellite TV and safe. Private bathroom comes with a bathtub and hairdryer.

A spa and wellness centre offers guests relaxing massages and pampering body treatments. Free private parking is available on site.

The restaurant did provide Muslims’ section and halal/non halal labels.
Experienced DIY soap activity at night.
Beautiful room and surroundings, but got no wifi if you’re staying in the cottage-like room.

This is one of the best resort hotels I have stayed…..serene surroundings covered with trees, ponds,plants and vegetable sheds. Taking a walk around the hotel before breakfast was breathe taking with fresh air and awesome views.It was like walking in a tropical forest. Breakfast which was included in the room rate had a wide spread ( mostly Taiwanese dishes) and the taste was Ok.The well furnished room was clean and spacious. We opted for a room with hot spring pools. It was a memorable experience being able to soak in a hot spring pool in the privacy of your hotel room. It was worth the extra paid for the hot spring room.Service by staff was friendly and their comprehension of English passable.

As there are many activities organized in the hotel surrounding,this is an ideal place to relax and rejuvenate.

There are no 7/11 or convenience shops around the hotel and I recommend you purchase all your supplies in Puli ( the nearest town) before checking in.
