At the end of the day you can relax in the natural swimming pool in the hotel park or in the hotel’s own «Oberländer Wellness Dörfli» (spa village).

The staff are so helpful and friendly and the rooms was lovely, with a balcony with mountain views. So peaceful too.

Lovely breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms, lots of character but very modern.

I do love staying somewhere with genuine, old furniture instead of mass-produced things, and this was just perfect for that.

All around the hotel, there are also fascinating artefacts and antiques from everyday life – really interesting and fun to look at!

There was ample secure parking, it’s so convenient for Interlaken Ost station and Harder Kulm and just an easy level walk into the town centre.

We ate in the restaurant at the hotel one evening and had a lovely, traditional meal in a cosy environment. Went every day but one to Whiskyness too, the hotel’s bar (it doesn’t just sell whisky!) and enjoyed sitting out by the log burner one cold afternoon.

Highly recommend this hotel (it’s adult only & gay friendly an added bonus)

Originally chose the Carlton-Europe Hotel for the location and the fact that it is an adult hotel. We were so glad that we made the decision.

The location is perfect to get to the Interlaken OST rail station and to the rest of the town.

The hotel was also perfect. The rooms were clean and comfortable with nice windows that opened. The bedding was also comfortable. The bathroom was nice with good water pressure in the shower.

There is a lift in the hotel, so having a room on an upper floor is not a problem.

The breakfast was included and was very good. There were many choices and all were homemade. Especially liked all the fresh fruit and berries with yogurt.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly. They all spoke multiple languages and always greeted you with a smile.

There are two restaurants attached to the hotel, as well as a Whiskyness bar. There is also a bar in the hotel lobby.

We enjoyed our stay and we would recommend it to others.

The hotel offered 2 restaurant plus a stand alone breakfast dining room. One restaurant was steakhouse themed restaurant the other was Fish based Restaurant. It also offered a small bar in the reception area that was serviced by the front desk staff. The Breakfast dining room had a great selection on offer, very European but a few American influences, the terrace faces over a amazing pool behind the hotel to provide privacy from the general public.

Note the bedding we had was traditional superking with single beds, this is the norm in Europe, but the hotel does offer some great mattress tops to turn the bed into King bed that the Australians and Americans love.

A number of the staff were multilingual, we heard them speaking, German, English and Spanish at one point. The staff were very knowledgeable about the local area and were also able to assist with parking, offer two options of either underneath the hotel and out the front of the hotel.

Staff was wonderful. Public bus transportation across the street was convenient.( or if you like a nice walk into Interlaken approx 20 minmin). Breakfast was included in our rate and was very nice. We used the Spa one night after a long home to relax. And based on recommendation we had dinner at the hotel one night . The meal was one of the better meals we have had in awhile. All was very fresh.

alzano is definitely one of the best stays of my Europe trip. The property is located in a peaceful area, away from hustle and bustle of areas near station. I stayed in basic room which is at the back side of the hotel and had a nice green grassland outside and a mountain nearby. I would say the room and beds are little bit dated but overall stay was comfortable. Rooms and property is well kept.

Bus stop is 200 metres (3 mins walk) from hotel and bus service connects the station/main area very well. Food in Salzano restaurant is top-notch. Loved the flavours in Ravioli I ordered and complimentary bread has its own interesting story 🙂

Very professional and friendly management and staff of the hotel. Stayed there for 10 days. It’s 10min walk from Interlaken West Station and 5min bus drive (2 busses every hour). They offer massage facility which is highly professional and also recommended.

Best thing is Lake Thun can be reached within 6 minmin walk. Located in a very peaceful and landscape view is very awesome.

We had a lovely stay in this hotel which is set in farmland just outside of Interlaken. I was glad we stayed here as the scenery is so spectacular and it seemed appropriate to stay in this location. The rooms themselves need renovating but they are very clean and cosy and perhaps this adds to the charm. Our room (deluxe room) had an inviting balcony that you could spend hours enjoying the view from. The family that runs the hotel are very friendly and helpful.

No problem was too big and they are very knowledgeable about the area. When we checked out, the owner even drove us to the train station as he was going into town himself. Such is the service at this hotel. Breakfast was ok. If you don’t have a car, you can take a bus from Interlaken (which is free because the hotel gives you a local transport card), or it is a very pleasant 20-30 min walk through farmland accompanied by friendly cows.

3. Hotel Boutique Hotel Bellevue 4* – LGBT Friendly Hotels Interlaken

Boutique Hotel Bellevue
Boutique Hotel Bellevue

The Boutique Hotel Bellevue on the river Aare is situated near the Interlaken-West train station in the centre of the city, but enjoys a quiet location near the water.

All rooms have balconies and a wonderful view of the river and the surrounding mountains.

Various restaurants and shops, as well as a jewelry and watches store can be found in the immediate vicinity of Boutique Hotel Bellevue.

Beside the Aare river in the countryside, this stately hotel in an 1801 building is a 5-minute walk from Interlaken-West train station and 3 km from the views at Harder Kulm, a mountain observation deck.

Featuring balconies with mountain and river views, the bright, casual rooms come with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and safes, plus tea and coffeemakers. Some have air-conditioning, while family rooms sleep up to 5 guests.

A breakfast buffet is complimentary. There’s also a relaxed lobby bar, a garden, and a terrace with river views. Parking is offered for a fee.

Our ***hotel Bellevue is situated in the heart of Interlaken on a sunny and quiet place directly on the bank of river Aare and is only 5 minutes walking distance away from the train station Interlaken WEST. The hotel is the ideal starting point for business travelers and holiday guests: it is close to the city center yet well situated for excursions around Interlaken and to the mountains.

The top floor rooms were recently renovated, with a balcony looking south-west over the river. Soothing rush of the river water at night and wonderful views of the mountains to the west, First rate accommodations, comfortable twin beds, hot powerful shower, soft and plush towels – nothing but thumbs up! The breakfast buffet was large and varied (get there before 11 if you want smoked salmon though) and excellent in all regards.

I would certainly recommend this location, rather than on the busy main drag, as it is close to the old town, and very very close to the West train station (do not take a cab – it’s only a few hundred meters).

It was a very easy walk from the train station. Our top-floor room had a great balcony with a gorgeous view of the river. It’s so cool to see this river because the bridges are so low that boats cannot be on it, so it’s super peaceful. Our room had comfortable beds and a very nice remodeled shower. The breakfast was one of the best that we had on our trip. The food and drink choices were plentiful and a very good value.

t is a 10 minute walk from the Interlaken West train station and is situated on the Aare River (beautiful!). Our room on the second floor had a view of the river and mountains to the west, and was very spacious. The room didn’t have a refrigerator, but you can roll one in from the hallway. Air conditioning was excellent. There are a number of restaurants within a 1-3 minute walk, and a small grocery across the street (a larger Coop store is next to the train station). The staff was very welcoming and seemed to genuinely care about our satisfaction.

Boutique hotel with all the right ingredients. Taking the breakfast on the Aare just tops it. Very clean room. We had the luck of having the view on the Eiger, a pleasure to wake up to this!

And last but not least: special mention to the staff who was just incredibly friendly and always eager to help.

When I first arrived at Hotel Bellevue’s lobby I was a little concerned about what awaits us. The lobby is quite outdated and didn’t look very welcoming. However, staff were really friendly and check in was smooth. When we reached our room, I was stunned.

The room was simple and fresh. The windows has magnificent views and the balcony was AMAZING. I highly highly highly recommend you pay a bit extra for the balcony with the river view. The sound of the river flowing, church bells ringing, horse carts striding and roosters crowing made it an unforgettable experience.

The location is quite convenient as it is about 5 mins from Interlaken West train station and about 10 mins from strip of shops and outdoor adventures meeting points if you’re doing any tours like day trip to Jungfraujoch mountain. I recommend two restaurants nearby: 1. Have a sit down dinner at Ox Restaurant and Grill around the corner.

The service and food was outstanding. The hotel reception can make a reservation for you as it is quite popular for dinner. 2. I recommend you order takeaway from Taj Mahal Indian restaurant across the road and to have your meal on your balcony at the hotel. Delicious food but sitting down at the restaurant doesn’t have a great vibe as it’s too busy for my liking and doesn’t have any views.
